Around the country, COVID-19 safety measures will extend into the next school year. Some school districts are giving parents some choices: home school full time, or home school part time and send kids to school part time, so that classrooms, hallways, and common rooms will be sparsely filled and presumably safer for kids and staff.

This has an impact on families. School two days a week instead of five days a week means that someone needs to be home to care for the kids and to supervise the schoolwork. This may be a significant challenge for families where both parents need to work.

So the topic here is about how we can survive this year, get the work done, and get the schoolwork done.
